    Wow, I thought Ace was a grump, but he has nothing on Blaze. Blaze returns to town in a cast, after a work accident. He left years ago, but now he’s back. Ben is his best friend. Ben is Annie’s big brother. Annie has been living with her Grandma Donna, but after one too many encounters with her and Juan Carlos, Annie can’t handle staying there. Blaze was staying with his mom while Ben was out of town, but as soon as hears Ben’s back in town, he moves to Ben’s. Ben has to leave town again, so Annie unable to check if she can move in. When finds out Blaze already there, she decides they can both stay there until Ben returns. One thing leads to another and they become an item. No spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens. I bet you’ll love all the animals you’ll meet.

    When Blaze Hellman returned to his hometown, he didn’t expect his mother would smother him. Yes, he’s recovering from an accident that left him in crutches and with a shoulder that does not fear much better, but he’s a grown man and doesn’t need to be treated as less than that. Hence the reason to move into his best friend’s guest room at the first opportunity.
    Annie McLachlin is just done being her grandmother’s roommate and is desperately seeking her brother’s help, but when said brother fails to answer her pleads for help, she decides to move into his house unaware that he already has a guest.
    This is a classic case of close quarters with the best friend’s little sister story. She, of course, had a massive crush on him as a young girl and now wants to ride the Blaze train. The story is fun and entertaining, but nothing I haven’t read before and is just a good one.
    The author is a good writer with a lot of funny comebacks and these band of brothers have amazing banter one doesn’t want to miss as well as Annie’s group of unruly friends.
